Help us test drive the new openbeta.io

It’s okay to Spray!

You don’t have to be a coder to participate. Four steps you can help us smash bugs and improve the climbing route catalog (openbeta.io):

1. Sign in and upload at least 3 climbing photos.

2. Make sure to tag a climb.

3. MountainProject users: import your ticks! Learn more.

4. Submit an edit. Yes, you can change anything: add new areas, rename existing areas, write a description.

Report problems or suggest improvements on our GitHub issues.

We will restore the site to its original state at the end of the testing period (Dec 1 2022). We will do our best to preserve new additions and changes to climbing areas. Your account and photos will remain as is.

1. Can I add new areas?

   Yes, please.

2. What if I delete something by accident?

   No problema. We will restore the site back to its original state at the end of the testing period (Dec 1).

3. Can I add new climbs and boulder problems? I don’t see a button for that.

   We’re working on it.

4. What will happen to my updates after the hackathon?

   We will do our best to preserve your contributions. Your accounts & photos will remain as is.
